This release includes some bugs fix and 2 main features: 1. semantic check 2. callp() pointcut: a special pointcut to capture a function call join point through a function pointer. You could find more details from http://www.aspectc.net/feature.html#feature04 The latest news include : 1. A bugzilla system is created in order for users to report/track AspectC bugs. 2. Both demo and tutorial submissions from AspectC team are accepted by AOSD 2007. demo :"AspectC for Aspect-oriented Systems Development with C". tutorial : "Principles of Aspect-oriented Systems Development and Refactoring with AspectC". Furthermore, there are some confusion about the name "AspectC" , because it was used in a project from Univeristy of British Columbia in 2001. So it is likely that we will change the name in future release. As always, we appreciate all your feedback and support for AspectC. Thanks. AspectC Compiler team (www.aspectc.net) Jan.3, 2007
